The Notebook - Nicholas Sparks

I never enjoyed reading romantic novels...n then once a friend recommended "The Notebook". I was jus running out of novels...so i gave it a shot... From the moment i started reading it, i just couldn't stop.The ever lasting love of Noah n Allie really touched me.I found the best part of the novel when Noah reads out their love story to Allie in the hospital.The book is all about being in love with a person truly madly n deeply.Their love blossomed during a summer, then abruptly ended with the end of summer, then after few years (i guess 7) they met again....the times mite have changed n so their attitudes...but one thing that didnt was the feeling that they held for each other...the feeling of endless love....n they end up being together.
A few lines i loved from the novel : -
"My daddy used to tell me 'the first time you fall in love it changes your life forever, and no matter how hard you try, the feelin' never goes away. This girl you been tellin' me about was your first love. And no matter what you do, she'll stay with you forever."
WOW..what a book.Ohh yes...n the movie based on it has done complete justice to the novel.

Forgive,Forget

All of us have heard of this idiom "To Err is Human,To forgive is Divine".No doubts abt it ..But there is more to the "Forgive" part.Its more important to "Forget" which is more difficult. I dont know how many of you agree with me, but this is what I have experienced.

Finally finally finally... today is the RTM for the project..huh wat a relief!!!Now i have all the time in the world do to TP (atleast today).
But here is the problem.... Murphy's Law strikes again :(
Y is no one online .... no one pinging .... no facebook games tryin to get my attention....no doubts that want me to visit google / wikipedia......... Y  Y Y. Ok i understand that the answer to al the Ys is the good old  Murphy's Law. But i jus want to kno wats the theory behind it.. Wow i guess jus the right thing to do now...

InterCaste marraiges..

Jus read in the news paper , rather on the e-paper,that the State (Maharashtra) will offer 50k (initially the gov gave 15k)  to inter-caste couple.A part of the money will be fixed and the reamaining will be given away for getting new household stuff...I think its a really cool step by the gov towards eradicating the caste system...and helpin these couples financially ,many of whom have to go against their parents consent for the marraige...kudos to the gov.. But they should spread more awareneess about it.

When u dunno what to do..

There will come many instances in life when you will stand @ crossroads....confused about which path to take...
Dont be scared of anythin...dont think about past ...stop worryin about the future...tell your mind to relax a bit n let your heart guide your way to the right path :)
This is what i always do....n trust me my heart has never let me down :)

Beyond life..

I can classify myself as a deep thinker and this is one topic ('Beyond life') which has really left me with lot of questions...
I have been pondering over this thought...n i dontt remember since when..
But i have failed everytime to come to a conclusion , no matter in which direction i let my mind wander about..mebbe its only when life has had enuf of me will i get answers to all my questions.....
I will elaborate on my thougts later on....there is so much i want to jot down...just fallin short of time at this moment..
